Educator
Investigating the Storytelling of the Next Generation
As an educator I empower my students through the exploration voice through curriculum. I ask myself how this specific group of students comes to meet whatever criteria I am given. I have built my skillset across two district in Southern California and I am looking for more opportunities to work above my traditional kindergarten through fifth grade age group. I have been known to sub for design and production at the San Diego School of Creative and Performing Arts and as a theatre arts/visual arts instructor for San Diego unified School District's Arts Education Project. In addition to working as an academic fellow and leading a seminar on devising at the O'Neill's National theater Institute. Other educational outreach has been done as a performer through Grossmont College and as a stage manager through Musical Theatre West.

I was in the BFA Acting cohort. I trained under Andrea LeBlanc, Chi-wang Yang, Heather Ehlers, Michael Manfredo, Brian Evenson, Marissa Osato, and Bridget Crone.

I hold two associates degrees from this instituition. On in Theatre Arts with an emphasis in Performance and another in Humanities and Fine Arts. Here I studied under, Jenn Thomas, Beth Duggan, Brian Rickel, Joan Mathison, Craig Everett, Matthew Thompson and Meg DeBoard.

I hold a degree in Theatre Arts- Technical Theatre- Scenery/Costume/Lighting. I studied under Jeff Janisheski Patricia Loughrey, Emily MacDonald, Josh Nathan, David Gorshein, Erin Caron, Ashley Boehne Ehlers, Martha Carter, Trevor Biship-Gillespie, Erin Caron, Anna Steers under the chair's leadership of Anthony Byrnes.

National Theater Institute at the O'Neill
I hold a Directing certificate from the Theatermakers Intensive. Here I worked with a wide array of professional artists with direct mentorship of victor cervantes jr. and Totayana-Marie Carlo. This program was led by Artistic Director Rachel Jett.
